at the Sock Hop! Entry fee is a pair of new socks for foster kids.
- Dine at 6:00 pm on food from the 50's and 60's, with a slight variation: "adult
milkshakes"
- Dance to the music of our 50-60's DJ starting at 7:00 – you can
show 'em whatcha got in the dance contest!

A Day of Food, Wine and Shopping in McMinnville
To Benefit the Elks National Foundation
Saturday, September 25
Join us for a fun, relaxing trip to the city of McMinnville. Our day will begin with wine and appetizers at the Beaverton Lodge at
11:00 a.m. We’ll stop at a winery. We’ll visit the McMinnville Elks Lodge and spend time in Historic Downtown McMinnville where we will have several choices for lunch. In the four-block area there are seven shops that offer wine tastings, antique and special interest shops, a year-round public market, and a beautiful park. We’ll head back home at 4:00 p.m.
Cost — only $30 a person, which includes transportation, appetizers, lunch and wine samples. Everyone will receive a special gift and will be automatically entered to win a bottle of wine.

The Lodge has the largest dance floor in Beaverton, and we aim to keep
it full! Live bands will get your heart rate up every Saturday
evening from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

Game Time
Whether you are a casual player or a fanatic, you'll find what you need! For your
enjoyment, the Lodge has
- five pool tables
- a Vegas-style card tables
- five Lottery machines
- an electronic dartboard
- satellite TV with eleven TV sets.
Thanks to Faye Clemens and the P.E.R.s,
we now have the Sports Package on
our TVs. This includes the NFL channel, the Speed channel, Tennis channel,
ESPNU, ESPN News, Hunting channel, and other college channels. Also included
is the NFL Red Zone on Sundays which shows every game and every touchdown
all day with no commercials.
The Red Zone is channel 399. The other channels are 400-419 — so if
you are a sports fan, come on down! Support your lodge and bring your friends.

Join us in the Members' Bar, where Happy Hour drink prices are in force during the game all foot ball season. There will be drawings at half-time – join your friends for appetizers, fun and win a prize while you enjoy a good football game!
Pool Tournaments

Sign-ups 6:00-6:45 pm
Play will begin at 7:00 pm
No Tournament on Labor Day
We would like to start an in-house pool tournament every Monday night.
After a couple of months, if we have enough players, we can start a league
and invite other lodges to join us.
It will be a double elimination tournament with a $5.00
entry fee. First place will get half the pot, second place and third place
will split the other half.

Hold 'em Tournaments
Tournaments are currently scheduled at Noon
almost every Saturday (keep
an eye on the Lodge
Calendar for each month's tournament dates and times).

Texas
Hold 'em Tournaments are limited to 48 players, "First Come - First Entered",
with a buy-in fee of $30.00, re-buys first hour.
The entry fee can
be paid in the office until the Thursday before the tournament, or
pay 1/2 hour before the tournament starts.
