Red TetnCamp Out, August 9th

Bring your family, friends, tents and sleeping bags to the Lodge Picnic Grounds on Saturday, August 9th! BBQ will be available that evening, as well as a Pancake Breakfast the following morning. There will be live music, games, and loads of fun!

Enjoy a great Elks tradition on Sunday, August 17, at our Lodge Picnic Grounds!

Gates open at 11:00 am. There will be live music, activities for the kids, food and beverages, a 50-50 drawing, and chances to win prizes all afternoon!

Hang on to the Picnic tickets that were mailed to you – there will be an Early Bird Drawing on August 8th for $200 cash! Then at 3:00 pm the day of the Picnic, there will be a drawing for

10th Annual Car and Motorcycle Show, August 30

You won't want to miss the 10th Annual Car & Motorcycle Show, held in the grass Picnic Area of Beaverton Lodge on Saturday, August 30 from 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Entry fee for cars: $10.00
Gates open for cars: 7:00 am
Trophies/People's Choice Awards: 3:00 pm

In addition to the many tropies, there will be chances at additional prizes and a 50-50 raffle.

cheeseburgerParticipants and visitors can enjoy a tasty breakfast for $5.00, served from 8:00 - 10:00 am. A lunch menu including hamburgers and hot dogs will be available from 10:00 am until the show ends.

Classes



Friday Night Dance Classes in Full "Swing"!

Attend one of Portland's best dance lessons, taught by Peter and Laura Sanchez.

  • August 1, 8 and 15 – Rhumba

They will teach a beginner’s group at 6:00 p.m. and an advanced group at 6:45 p.m. Class finishes by 8:00 p.m. so you can practice to DJ or live music until 9:30 pm.

The charge is $6.00 per couple per class, or $11/couple when there is live music. Come out and enjoy learning a few new dances at our Beaverton Elks Lodge!

Live Entertainment

The Lodge has the largest dance floor in Beaverton, and we aim to keep it full! Live bands will get your heart rate up every Saturday evening from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Keep an eye on the Lodge Calendar for the names of the bands for the current month.

Have a suggestion for a future month? We're always looking for talented groups – contact John Bell with your ideas.

Note: Effective January 6, 2007, the cover charge for Beaverton Elks and their guests will be $3.00 each, and $4.00 for visiting Elks and their guests. The increase goes directly to support the cost of having live music each weekend.

Game Time

Whether you are a casual player or a fanatic, you'll find what you need! For your enjoyment, the Lodge has

  • five pool tables
  • a Vegas-style card tables
  • five Lottery machines
  • an electronic dartboard
  • satellite TV with eleven TV sets. Join us on Monday nights at 5:00 p.m. for a good football game, appetizers, fun, and a chance to win prizes.



Our facilities are particularly suited for scheduled activities like:

  • Bingo – Bingo is scheduled at 6:30 pm every Tuesday evening
  • Chess






    Texas Hold'em Tournament
  • Texas Hold 'em – tournaments are currently scheduled at Noon every Saturday (keep an eye on the Lodge Calendar for each month's tournament dates and times).

    Texas Hold 'em Tournaments are limited to 48 players, "First Come - First Entered", with a buy-in fee of $30.00, re-buys first hour. The entry fee can be paid in the office until the Thursday before the tournament, or pay 1/2 hour before the tournament starts.
